I did my own tuneup on a 99 suburban 454 7.4L big block with 250k miles, replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor and afterwards it was missing badly and backfiring. I couldn't figure it out why so first took it to another shop and they replaced the distributor for which the teeth were worn, however it was still missing badly and they said it may need a new engine. I Took it to extreme auto. It took a while to diagnose but they found that the brand new distributor cap I bought (oem brand) was defective. (I discovered later that two plug connectors for cylinders 3 & 5 were shorted internally, a very rare problem) so 2 cylinders were not even firing or firing at the wrong time. They replaced the cap and now the car is back to running good. I wished I could have found this problem myself but I was in a bind and they really saved me. The bill was reasonable for the time spent.

I changed my original review because everything has been fixed. They are now getting a five-star rating because of the extremely professional service I have received. Now, I will recommend them to anyone wanting service

Repairs are timely and the communication is always very good. I appreciate the honesty from the people at Extreme Auto and their professionalism. There are many places in Parker to take a car for repair and I have used them but these folks are the only place I now go. They are hard working and friendly.

Great job diagnosing a bad fuel injector and replacing it right away. In and out fix runs great.

Brought the car in with somewhat of an unknown problem, they gave a quick possibility then took the car for a complete diagnostic, they provided a complete description of what was wrong, what needed to be done and possible alternatives. The quote seemed fair but the actual charge came in less than the quote and they had gone above and beyond noting and taking care of a couple of lesser items. We had previously lost a mechanic we trusted and have been very hesitant to find a new one. We feel certain we have found our new one. Thanks very much to Mike and his crew.

I have been an Extreme Auto Repair customer for several years. The staff is friendly, honest and knowledgeable and they do quality work. Today, I was blown away by them as I was working long hours (from home) on an initiative related the to CARES Act but also needed to have my car serviced. The team at Auto Extreme went above and beyond and picked up my vehicle from my garage, took it to the shop for the work, then pulled it back into my garage when they were done. Not only that, but they were diligent to ensure safety measures were in place, wearing masks, gloves, and spraying down and wiping all surfaces that they were in contact with. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of service or repairs!!
